The non-profit organization Les Petits Débrouillards was founded in 1996 with the aim of fostering scientific awareness and technological discovery, raising children’s awareness of respect for the environment, stimulating their social integration, and raising their awareness of the importance of civic participation in society.
It is accredited by the National Office of Birth and Childhood (ONE) and is a member of the International Federation of Les Petits Débrouillards.
Les Petits Débrouillards organizes various activities for groups of children, both in school and extraschool settings, as well as during school holidays, but also for the general public during events such as scientific awareness campaigns, science festivals, and science spring events.
Since the workshops are paid for, Les Petits Débrouillards contributes financially to the cost of these activities so that less fortunate children can participate.
During the 2025 All Saints’ Day holiday, it organized workshops for children aged 3 to 12 focusing on scientific discovery, through activities where they learned how to create effervescent mixtures, realize invisible messages appear, or transform ingredients into bubbling potions.
The support of the Order of Saint-Gabriel Benelux provided financial support for activities attended by disadvantaged children.
